Rubber Lining

Rubber Lining

In the case of reservoirs and facilities, where strong chemical solutions such as 98% sulfuric acid are kept, choices for the type of the coating are very limited. One of the coatings used is rubber lining. This is also very limited due to old age tires and shallow cracks. Rubber lining is used if no chemical is usable in the defined conditions. This operation is carried out in two manners. In the first procedure, unbaked rubbers are used on the surface and baked with steam injection, which is applicable to small equipment. In the second method, pre-fabricated rubber parts are attached to the surface and sealed with proper materials. The applying accuracy in this coating is very important and if there are any issues, like the penetration of the factors that are very corrosive, it will immediately cause damage.
