Solvent borne Epoxy

Epoxy is a linear molecular sequence polymer with each of two active epoxy groups (epoxide). Epoxy resins have different types that vary in structural details and chain length between the two groups of epoxide. For the formation of epoxy hard films, a hardener is needed. Different hardeners for reaction with epoxy resin make it possible to form epoxy films at ambient temperatures or higher temperatures; polyamide and polyamide based hardeners are the most widely used ones. Due to its interesting properties, epoxy coating has become widely used for all types of substrates in the electrical, power, construction, automotive and marine industries. Among the properties of epoxy coating, high adhesiveness, flexibility, mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and corrosion resistance can be mentioned. The common fault of all products is chalking due to ultraviolet radiation, which limits some uses. By changing the consumable hardener or improving the structure of the epoxy resin with other chemical compounds, some of the properties of the coating can be highlighted in accordance with the desired application. For this group of solvent base paints usually use a mixture of aromatic solvents with alcohols they do. Manapolymer has ten products in this section as follows.
